Restorative yoga a is a quieting, supportive practice using well-placed blankets, bolsters, yoga straps, and eye pillows to safely guide the body and breath into relaxation and ease with longer held poses lasting 2-15 minutes. It’s a calming yoga that activates the parasympathetic nervous system also called rest and digest.
Our deeply therapeutic immersion will provide an understanding of the philosophy and science of restorative yoga, as well as give the practical tools to teach a well-sequenced series of restorative postures to relieve chronic stress, insomnia, digestive issues, alleviate mild depression and anxiety, support fertility and more. You will learn how to bring your students into deeper states of rest and healing with Yoga Nidra and Aromatherapy Applications. This training is for yoga teachers, healers, caregivers or anyone interested in restorative yoga.
